About Us

The Service Centre’s are a group of mechanical workshops with a focus on providing quality car servicing & maintenance to the people of Newcastle & the Hunter Valley areas.

With a desire to constantly improve & experience from all different size workshops we have been able to build a system to maintain vehicles to manufacturers specifications while still being able to provide the customer service of a small family business.

The Role

We are on the hunt for a motivated 3rd or 4th year apprentice or a qualified tradesman to join our team based at our Thornton workshop. With a good consistent flow of work from basic services through to engine replacements on all makes and models of vehicles, no two days are the same. A fast pace with a high attention to detail will be required. We pride ourselves on our high level quality workmanship.

Trading only weekdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm you will have plenty of down time to spend unwinding how you like. We are aware that sometimes life throws curve balls that aren’t planned for and we harbour a flexible attitude when these situations arise.

We know how much time is spent at work and our team is more family than workmates. Social activities, events and milestones are celebrated as a team. We like to create an environment that makes us want to come to work.

We always want our team to further themselves and openly offer training and upskilling where possible. There will be plenty of opportunities to further your career in terms of pink/blue slip tickets, AC tickets or even management and business courses if that’s where the path leads you.
